Bradley Meek was born in Texas in 1986. You can still hear Texas in his voice when he speaks and writes- studies show he is the only THEM reviewer to use the contraction "ya'll" in his reviews. It's not that he's a hick- it's just that he thinks "you guys" is an awkward and unnatural phrase.

Research indicates that he moved around for most of his childhood, living in Dallas, Texas; Little Rock, Arkansas; briefly in Denver, Colorado; and now resides in Kansas City, Missouri. His favorite residence, though, seems to be Stuttgart, Germany; and he wants to return to Europe again.

Moving on. He first discovered anime in mid-2005 watching episodes of InuYasha on [adult swim]. In early 2006, he stumbled across Jason Huff's The Anime Review while browsing the web. The site delighted him- he found Huff's style of reviews to be honest, candid, and full of rare common sense. The idea of reviewing anime excited him, and he decided to try his hand at writing reviews. Through a link at Huff's site, he discovered THEM anime, and made it a personal goal to become a reviewer on staff at the site. In mid-2007, he was accepted on staff as a reviewer.

His interest outside of anime varies widely- he enjoys movies, cooking, video games, television shows on DVD, music, reading, Magic: The Gathering, and writing about himself in the third person. When reviewing anime, he tries to be honest, balanced, original, and occasionally funny. He enjoys mentally dissecting an anime to see what makes it tick.
