The Millennial THEM Anime Awards
In the last year, we here at THEM have completed a club-wide survey of our what our members consider to be the best (or at least favorite) anime of all time. This is purely subjective, and a few of our results may indeed contradict the reviews we have posted! However, this accurately demonstrates the wide range of opinions and tastes of our members.
Before you ask why your favorite title might not be in the lists ... this survey was taken during the second half of 2000 and the first few months of 2001, so newer titles like Love Hina and Oh My Goddess the Movie, which may otherwise be higher in rank, may not even appear, as we hadn't seen those titles as of the voting. Also, there is a great disparity in the amount of anime seen by our members. Some members were unable to fill out their ballots completely, while others refused to vote out of unavailability or principle.
So, how did we figure all this voting business out, anyway? Well, we used a voting system. Each THEM member picked a group of ten favorites in the following categories:
Movies and Theatrical Features
Original Animated Videos (OAVs)
Television Series and Specials
Each member placed his or her vote in order from 1st place to 10th place. A 10th place vote was worth one point, and a 1st place vote was worth ten points. First-place votes also counted as tie-breakers in the case of a tie.
We have also included, for your enjoyment, THEM's LEAST Favorite Titles!
We would like to thank the following people for voting in this year's THEM Anime Awards:

Christina (Carpenter) Ross
