That would have been the day, at least on this site, but no... Allen has watched a little something called The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. and found the show hardly a disaster, but quite the amount of plain ol' fun. And isn't that just how we like it?

Next week is a bit up in the air. Summer vacation is closing in fast, and that's no time to sit inside and watch anime, right? Well... unless you live on the southern hemisphere, that is. Let's just see what we can do.

Allen takes a look at an anime classic this week, and it's Speed Racer, a show that takes the nostalgia medal as long as you grew up with it. But I guess that's how nostalgia work. It's still a decent show as long as you can take in that 60's ridiculousness.

Summer is closing in on us, but we still have some updates to do. Next week will... probably be a disaster. No, really. See you then.

Allen has hardly slept on the job, though, and so he brings the goods on the table again with a review for Napping Princess, which seems to be about a girl that takes powernaps? And has dreams that come with messages, because don't they all? Still, it's a good OAV movie, and one you definitely shouldn't sleep over.

So yes, Allen actually went and had a look at every episode of the Garden of Sinners franchise, which, to my knowledge, is a series of standalone OAVs that sort of fit together. Probably. Allen wasn't really all that impressed with the show, which tried really hard to be impressive in that obtuse way shows do when they try to come across as deep and mysterious, but he didn't find it to be a complete catastrophe either.

Maybe he'd rather have a good nap than trying to untangle this. Maybe next week. See you all then.
