THEM Anime Q&A #4 Announcement!

It's been a while, but we are proud to announce we are opening up a fourth round of THEM Anime Q&A! This is when you can ask us reviewers any questions you want us to answer! We will accept any questions, except for the following:

1.) Very personal questions on our personal lives. (General questions, like what is our favorite food/non-anime show/drink, are fine. Note that some of us might be open than others in terms of personal questions. If you're unsure of what we will/will not, feel free to ask first. Note that some of us maybe more open to answering than others.)

2.) The following anime-related questions: "When are you going to review this/why did you give this series a certain star rating/what's your opinion on (insert anime title)?"

Five reviewers will be participating this time. The five happy THEM Anime members who will be participating are:

Stig Høgset - flowerkings72@hotmail.com
Tim Jones - tsurow@gmail.com
Nicoletta Christina Browne - utenanicoletta@gmail.com
Allen Moody - ALLEN1119@aol.com
Carlos D. Ross - carlos.ross@gmail.com

You may send either e-mails to any of us, or a PM on the THEM Anime forums if you're a member on there. There are no limits to how many questions you may send, though we recommend a maximum of 10 per person. If you only want to ask certain members questions, please make note of that when sending questions. Otherwise we will assume you want us all to answer your questions.

Questions will be accepted anytime from now through Sunday, July 17th at 11:59 PM EST. Questions will be answered in an editorial afterwards on Monday, July 25th.

Now send us some questions! We'll be waiting!

We're on the Highway to Heck.

Hey, everyone. Allen once again steps up to the plate this week to bring you another review. He watched a bit of an oddball show called The Lost Village and was apparently allowed to walk away satisfied. That's gotta count for something, right?

Next week, Allen will once again prove that he's been a lean, mean reviewin' machine. See you all then.

When Susanna Cries and Stabs the Living Hell Out of You.

Well, that's where you end up with the surprise MOE murder machine When They Cry - Higurashi, of which Allen gives the second season -- When They Cry - Higurashi 2 -- a second look. Grandpa here reckons this is where it's at; now that MOE girls stabbing people has become mainstream and "cool", nobody remembers the original anymore from before MOE stabbings sold out. Or something like that.

...I knew I shouldn't have stashed that hipster corpse in my freezer. *cough* Anyway... see you again next week.

The Lost Horizons of Potential and the Oversized Crowd Photobombing it.

That's more or less how Allen felt about Shangri-La; fun, but too crowded for its own good. And not necessarily about a Shangri-La either. Maybe. At least it's quite OK as shows go.

Next week, Allen will bring the goods again. As for what, we'll see. Later, all.

A Tribe Called Witchcraft

Amazingly, we were THIS close to having zilch reviews for this week, but Stig, Tim, and I all managed to push something out just in time. Woooo!

I took on 2014's Witch Craft Works, which was another dud from the Winter 2014 season...except this time, there was enough potential at the start that the crappy execution really made me pretty depressed. It also seems like it had some lost potential to be a cute yuri show, and that's something that really gets me down.

But Stig and Tim had a much, much better time with Tribe Cool Crew, which was something of a dark horse surprise find during one of their synchro sessions. Those kinds of shows are the best!

And we'll have something for ya'll next week! We promise!
