Princess Apathy!
This week I've got an interesting case: Princess Lover!, a series from about a year ago that caught the attention of a lot of fans of great, technical animation. I was so intrigued with it that I asked Tim to let me review it in his stead, because as you can see, it is right up Tim's alley. (Careful where you click that link if you don't have Google's filter on). Princess Lover! clearly a case where a talented staff is forced to work with some terrible source material, and the results are pretty interesting.
My Giant Robo review was delayed so I could rewatch the series, and will be up as soon as I finish it. Next week is Tim's turn, with some sort of Top Secret Review. He won't say what it is, the jerk. Maybe he'll tell you?

Does Ninja make everything better?
I wish I could always say that, but it looks like Ninja Scroll, the TV series is here to prove me wrong. And it's doing a good job at it too. The only way I could see someone enjoying this is if they thought the original movie was too dark and violent.
At any rate, that marks off another one of my special request updates. I'm running this update a day earlier than our regular scedule, seeing as I won't be available tomorrow. See you next time.

Watch This Space
Giant Robo will be here soon. In the meantime, I've been writing about the latest premiers for Japan's summer season over at Anime3000. Head over there for my thoughts on new series like Mitsudomoe, Highschool of the Dead, Occult Academy and more. I'll be updating that page with more previews in the coming week, so keep an eye on that too.

No, this update isn't a review of the band Stray Cats' albums.
Instead, this is a review of a 2010 anime based on the recently popular light novel series about girls, a boy, and (sometimes) cats. Click here, all ye who dare.
We go back to Bradley next week. See you later!
