Trend'Setter of the A'ges.

Spoiler: Allen watched Seven Senses of the Re'Union, and he was notably less impressed with it than last week's show. We often complain on THEM how shows that uses tildes (~) in a show is a sign that it's kinda terrible, but what does that say about shows who put apostrophes into words that aren't supposed to have them? Are you ready for the re'union?

Weirdly enough, next week's entry kinda breaks one of those somewhat similar rules when it comes to show titles, albeit maybe a less severe one. And no, it's not replacing S's with Z's, although I'm already giggling like a madman when I do that to the show in question's title. Anyway, see you all then.

Ten Little Kiddies.

Well... I'm actually not sure if there really were ten kids -- or even ten characters -- but Allen's pick of the week, Astra: Lost in Space is still a pretty fantastic murder mystery thing in... well, space. And it's really, really good too.

So that was a good start of the week. Next week, however... well, let's just say that a haunted mainframe isn't as fun as one might think. See you all then.

How to Score in One Easy Lesson, Yet Be Completely Clueless About It.

....technically. When it comes to arcade games, anyone can score, but Allen's take of the week, Hi-Score Girl takes a look at how love starts in the video game circuit. Which is to say... it ain't happening in a hurry. Still, it was a fairly enjoyable show, or so Allen thought.

Well, that's our lot for this week. Join us again next week, because we'll all be a little lost then.

That Submerging Feeling....

Well, this update is a disaster. Allen takes a look at Japan Sinks 2020, and hey, it's a really good show. Just... make like Game of Thrones and probably don't get too attached to the characters, because... well... not everyone will live to see the end of the day. Or the next one. So what if it's not entirely scientifically and geographically accurate?

That was a somewhat grim update, huh? Well, cheer up, because next week, we'll be putting on our game face. Sorta. See you all then.

Do it For the Kittens!

About a month ago, I gave in and reviewed the Nekopara OVA, which was... not really all that impressive in any respect other than maybe character designs. So hey, of course I had to give the follow-up TV series a go when it appeared on one of my streaming services of choice. It's... well, slightly better than the TV series, but mostly because the addition to the household is a child, so her behavior is more appropriate for her age. Sort of. Of course, if you loved the OVA, this show is also kind of a no-brainer about whether you should watch it.

And that's our lot. Next week's show is a bit of a "we have some good news and some bad news" kind of a deal, depending on where you are. See you all then.
