Melkorka is a cute, crazy Icelandic girl who just "appeared" at the THEM Forums one day in 2005.

Since then, she became the self-proclaimed initiator of newbies at the Forums, dramatically giving people a taste of just how weird we all are, until her semi-retirement in the summer of 2008. Which is to say, she still gleefully reminds people just how weird we are, just not as a newbie initiation ceremony anymore.

Understandably, she has gained quite a following around here.

(You could probably figure out her last name / patronymic if you look hard enough. Iceland only has 300,000 people or so.)
